Tarnamid® PA66

Tarnamid® PA66 by Grupa Azoty is a range of modified engineering plastics in granulated form, produced from polyamide 66 (PA66). It can be processed using injection molding. It is suitable for fibreglass reinforced grades (used in manufacturing parts with increased mechanical strength and rigidity, especially in the automotive industry, electrical engineering, machine parts, grades with mineral filler – used in manufacturing parts with increased rigidity and dimensional stability), flame-retardant halogen-free grades (used in manufacturing of parts in electrical engineering and electronics with decreased flammability; does not release toxic gases during burning and are not susceptible to releasing smoke), impact resistant grades (used in automotive industry, for manufacturing of machine parts, in the furniture industry, characterized by greater impact resistance, also in the dry state) and grades with improved sliding properties – used in friction pairs characterized by low friction coefficient and increased wear resistance.
