Terratek® BD5175 by Green Dot Bioplastics is a starch-based, proprietary blend of natural and synthetic biodegradable polyester grade. It possesses heat resistance, rigidity, pliability, strength and lower processing temperatures. It leads to energy savings and easy processing and taking on desired shape & color characteristics. This grade is tolerant to heat conditions ranging from moderate to high. It is made with ingredients which pass industry standards for composting. Terratek® BD5175 is processed by injection molding. It is used in food packaging, disposable cutlery, single-use items, organic waste containers, gardening & other agricultural applications, plant pots and mulch films. It contains 61% by weight biomass content.
