Compounded PTFE 25% Glass Fiber filled by Foresight Plastics Engineering is a biosafe, inert, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) grade reinforced with 25% glass fiber. Exhibits improved hardness, high compressive strength, oil-free sliding material with low friction, low creep, excellent wear- and weather resistance. Designed for processing by extrusion and compounding. Compounded PTFE 25% Glass Fiber filled operates at safe temperatures between - 50 to 200°C for biological applications, - 50 to 260°C for non-bio-, food- and pharma applications. Used in bushings, piston rings, tubing and profiles.
