Farrprene EF651 by Farr Polychem is a styrenic block copolymer (SBC) thermoplastic elastomer. It exhibits an effective elastic memory and recovery properties, adequate tear resistance and reliable fatigue life under cyclic loading. It maintains properties across typical use temperatures and has controlled melt flow characteristics.
  • It offers very high elongation capabilities combined with moderate mechanical strength.
  • It provides excellent elastic performance while maintaining reasonable tensile properties.
  • It is suitable for processing by co-extrusion.
  • Farrprene EF651 is recommended for elastic bands and straps, industrial flexible components, sealing profiles, specialty gaskets for irregular surfaces, elastic hinges and living hinge applications, high-elongation weatherstripping, protective bellows and boots.
