VESTAKEEP® M40G by Evonik is a biocompatible, high viscosity polyether ether ketone (PEEK) grade. Offers good mechanical strength, good wear resistance, good impact resistance and high strength. Exhibits good processability, outstanding biostability, good dimensional stability, gamma ray resistance and X-ray resistance. Also offers good electrical properties, good electrical insulation and good resistance to commonly used sterilization methods like autoclaving. It is suitable for processing by injection molding and extrusion. VESTAKEEP® M40G is recommended for medical equipment applications. Meets UL 94 V-0 flame rating.
