PA 2201 by EOS is a biocompatible polyamide 12 (PA 12) grade. Exhibits high strength & stiffness, good chemical resistance, excellent long-term constant behavior, high selectivity & detail resolution, and high abrasion resistance. Is suitable for processing by laser sintering and rapid prototyping. Suitable for metallization, stove enamelling, vibratory grinding, tub coloring, bonding, powder coating and flocking. Applications include fully functional plastic parts, prostheses and movable part connections. PA 2201 complies with the FDA, 21 CFR §177.1500 9(b) regulation except for alcoholic food stuff.
