PA 2200 Top Speed 1.0 by EOS is a biocompatible polyamide 12 (PA 12) grade. Exhibits high strength & stiffness, good chemical resistance, excellent long-term constant behavior, high selectivity & detail resolution, and high abrasion resistance. Is suitable for processing by laser sintering and rapid prototyping. The top speed parameter that applies layer thickness of 180µm is used for parts with medium to high requirements of quality, mechanical load and high cost pressure. Suitable for metallization, stove enamelling, vibratory grinding, tub coloring, bonding, powder coating and flocking. Applications include fully functional plastic parts, prostheses and movable part connections. PA 2200 Top Speed 1.0 complies with the FDA according to USP biological test USP/Level VI/121°C, EN ISO 10993-1 and EU Plastics Directive 2002/72/EC (except for high alcoholic food stuff).
