CarboSil® TSPCU 20 (55D)

CarboSil® TSPCU 20 (55D) by Envalior is a translucent to amber colored, thromboresistant, biostable & biocompatible thermoplastic silicone polycarbonate polyurethane (TSPCU) copolymer grade available in the form of pellets. Exhibits good toughness, good tensile strength, good flexibility, good processability, and excellent mechanical properties.

• Can be customizable with SME® technology utilizing surface modifying end groups.
• It is adaptable to various fabrication techniques to accommodate many different device shapes and can be solvent bonded, dipped coated and sprayed.
• Is suitable for processing by extrusion, injection molding and compression molding.
• CarboSil® TSPCU 20 (55D) is recommended for a wide range of healthcare & medical applications such as cardiovascular electrostimulation lead insulation, continuous glucose monitoring, neurovascular electrostimulation lead insulation, drug eluting stents and orthopedic implants.
