Bionate® PCU 55D by Envalior is a thermoplastic polycarbonate-urethane. It is recommended for long-term implants. It offers outstanding physical & mechanical properties, bio-stability, bio-compatibility, abrasion resistance, flexibility and strength. It provides stability against oxidation, load bearability and resistance to environmental stress cracking. Bionate® PCU 55D can be customizable with SME® technology utilizing surface modifying end groups. It is suitable for neurotranstimulation, cardiac assistance, catheters, orthopedic applications, hip & knee joints, prosthetic spinal discs and lead insulation & metal ions. It is approved by US FDA.
