Grilamid® L 25 W 20 X by EMS-Grivory (EMS Group) is a semi-flexible, plasticized, high viscosity polyamide 12 (PA 12) grade. Is formed by the polymerisation of laurolactam (lactam 12, obtained from the basic raw material butadiene), a ring-shaped, long-chain monomer with 12 carbon atoms. Is an impact modified, heat and UV stabilized grade. Exhibits low water absorption, excellent dimensional stability, high resistance to chemicals, hydrolysis, heat and weathering. Possesses lowest density among all polyamides, low weight, exceptional impact strength at low temperatures and easy processability. Grilamid® L 25 W 20 X is suitable for processing by extrusion. Used in automotive compressed air-, hydraulic- and fuel systems, cables & semi-flexible tubes and in hydraulics & pneumatics. Complies with REACH, RoHS and WEEE.
