Eastman Tritan™ Copolyester TX2000 by Eastman is a clear and amorphous copolyester grade. It possesses excellent toughness and hydrolytic stability. It also offers high impact-, heat and chemical resistance. It can be molded into various applications without incorporating high levels of residual stress. It is easy to process and the products formed can be used in high heat, humidity conditions with aggressive cleaning detergents. It has applications in small kitchen appliances, consumer goods, housewares and dishwashers. Eastman Tritan™ Copolyester TX2000 follows United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and is certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 51 for Food Equipment Materials.
