Calprene® 540 by Dynasol is a porous, stabilized 60/40 butadiene/styrene thermoplastic copolymer grade. Polymerized in solution and having a linear structure. Insoluble in water while soluble in organic solvents. Exhibits non staining antioxidant system, excellent optical properties due to its clarity and essentially gel free with a very clear color. It can be processed using injection molding. Suitable for shoe sole formulations, transparent compounds, plastic modification, adhesives and footwear. Calprene® 540 complies with FDA (Food and Drug Administration), REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals), EINECS (European Inventory of Existing Commercial Substances), TSCA (Toxic Substances Control Act), US Environmental Protection Agency), HSDB (US National Library of Medicine) and RTECS (US Dept. of Health & Human Services).
