DYNA-PURGE® SF by Dyna-Purge (Shuman Plastics) is a non-abrasive, non-chemical engineered thermoplastic purging compound with a proprietary additive, which allows the purge to expand and scrub the screw and barrel, die, and other downstream equipment. It is a safe, non-hazardous, easy to use product that is excellent for transition to clear or transparent resin, preventative machine maintenance, and before manual cleaning. Also excellent for purging through hot runner systems, dies, or other downstream equipment and it is also effective through a wide temperature range (193°C-310°C). Thoroughly loosens carbonized and degraded resin, allowing it to be flushed out of the system and doesn’t require any process adjustment as it can be used at the resident resin processing temperature and RPM speed. Designed for extruders and co-extruders that have limited clearances related to screenpacks, mixing or metering devices, etc., when processing profile, sheet, blown and cast film. Ideal for use when screen packs can’t be removed from the extruder. Excellent for color changes, resin changes, preventative machine maintenance, and before manual cleaning. DYNA-PURGE® SF by Dyna-Purge (Shuman Plastics) complies with FDA (Food and Drug Administration) CFR Title 21, Part 177, REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals) and WEEE / RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances).
