Elvamide® 8063

DuPont™ Elvamide® 8063 by DuPont is a nylon (polyamide) multipolymer grade containing polyamide 6 (PA 6), polyamide 66 (PA 66) and polyamide 610 (PA 610) resins. Is a general purpose product exhibiting outstanding abrasion resistance, good solubility, toughness, high tensile strength, high elongation and excellent adhesion. This product by DuPont can be readily applied from solutions in low cost, quick evaporating alcohols. It has a high melting point that further prevents gumming up at high needle temperatures frequently encountered in high speed sewing. Provides excellent bonding with consistent quality. DuPont™ Elvamide® 8063 is used in the manufacture of yarns. Ideal dosage ranges between 4% and 10%.
