ENGAGE™ ENR 7380 by Dow is an easily colorable, low density/ light weight, general purpose polyolefin elastomer (POE) grade based on ethylene butene copolymer. It is based on INSITE™ technology. It exhibits excellent melt strength & processability and lower shrinkage. Also exhibits excellent physical properties including elasticity, toughness, low temperature ductility and reduced surface gloss. Offers better thermal stability & heat resistance and improved impact resistance & low temperature performance. It shows easy mixing, forming and processing on plastic or rubber equipments. Also, it is recyclable for in-process scrap re-use. It can be processed using injection molding, extrusion and thermoforming. Suitable for making tough & resilient, yet flexible products. Moreover, it can be used as a “neat” polymer or as a value-enhancing ingredient in compound formulations. Applications of ENGAGE™ ENR 7380 by Dow include footwear foams (light and deliver excellent resiliency & cushioning to the shoe), molded goods (toys and other consumer/ household items), automotive bumper fascia, TPO roofing and noise vibration harshness (NVH) applications.
