ENGAGE™ 8003 REN Polyolefin Elastomer by Dow is an ethylene-octene copolymer with offers excellent flow characteristics. It offers superior impact properties in blends with polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE). It provides exceptional peroxide cure capability as well as high filler loading. It is produced using bio-based feedstocks made from mixed plastic waste.
  • It exhibits heat aging, compression set and weather resistance properties when cross-linked by peroxide, silane or irradiation.
  • It performs well in a wide variety of general purpose thermoplastic elastomer applications.
  • It is suitable for processing by compression molding, blending, injection molding, hose-, profile- and tube extrusion.
  • It is used in wire, cables, impact modification, high performance electrical insulation and jacketing.
  • ENGAGE™ 8003 REN Polyolefin Elastomer complies with TSCA, FDA 21 CFR 177.1520, ISCC PLUS certification for renewable-based plastics, Regulation (EU) 10/2011, GB 4806.1-2016, GB 4806.7-2023, GB 9685-2016, MERCOSUR, ANVISA, EU 94/62/EC, CONEG and EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS).
