APPEEL™ 55030 Peelable Resin

APPEEL™ 55030 Peelable Resin by Dow is an ethylene type polymer resin. It provides smooth peeling (cohesive failure mode) to various materials including PE, PP and can also be sealed to paper and paperboard. It is used as a heat seal layer in lidding material for polyethylene coated paper cup, injection molded and vacuum molded containers used in packaging of snack, noodle, yogurts and other food items. APPEEL™ 55030 Peelable Resin is suitable for processing by conventional extrusion, coextrusion, coating and lamination. It complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.1520(a)(2)(i) and (c)2.2.
