APPEEL™ 22D843 Peelable Resin by Dow is a polypropylene (PP) modified ethylene acrylate (EA) resin. It acts as a masterbatch to achieve peelability in polypropylene-based sealant layer for cup or tray lidding applications. It offers peelable seals over a broad temperature. It is suitable for processing by conventional extrusion, coextrusion and blown film extrusion. It can be used as a modifier for HoPP or CoPP by addition rates between 20% to 40% by weight. APPEEL™ 22D843 Peelable Resin complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.1340, EU Directive 2012/19/EU (WEEE), EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS) and conforms to CONEG & EU Directive 94/62/EC.
