Danimer 12261 by DaniMer Scientific is a compostable/ biodegradable renewable resin. It is suitable for virtually any injection molded part, and can be used in hot and cold runner systems. It is an environmentally friendly option to petroleum derived resins. It has excellent printability and colorability. It also create additional value through energy savings because they can be processed at lower temperatures than other resins. It enables savings of time and costs in manufacturing operations because articles made of DaniMer ReNew Resin can be disposed of via composting instead of land filling or incineration. It is used in trash bags, compost bags and hay bale wraps. Danimer 12261 is recommended for films used in barrier packaging, agricultural mulch, compost food service items, breathable for liquid water barrier, landscaping weed barrier and greenhouse.
