PURAPOL L175 by Corbion is an odorless, water insoluble, biobased polylactic acid (PLA) homopolymer grade derived from natural resources. Offers a significant reduction in carbon footprint compared to oil-based plastics. Exhibits high heat properties and high viscosity. Compared to standard PLA, this grade has higher melting points and an increased rate of crystallization. It can be processed using film extrusion and thermoforming. For processing, it is recommended to pre-dry the resin. PURAPOL L175 is recommended for fiber spinning, biaxially-oriented films, cold cups and semi-crystalline parts, which exhibit a higher temperature resistance. Complies with EU commission regulation 10/2011, Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004, EN13432 and REACH.
