PURAPOL L105 by Corbion is a crystalline, water insoluble, bio-based polylactic acid (PLA) homopolymer grade derived from natural resources. Offers a significant reduction in carbon footprint compared to oil-based plastics. Exhibits high heat properties and high flow. Compared to standard PLA, this grade has higher melting point and an increased rate of crystallization. It can be processed using injection molding. For processing, it is recommended to pre-dry the resin and screw speed should be kept as slow as possible. PURAPOL L105 is recommended for fiber spinning, semi-crystalline parts which exhibit a higher temperature resistance. Complies with EU commission regulation 10/2011, Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004, EN13432 and REACH.
