Is a flame retardant grade exhibiting higher impact resistance at low temperature than polycarbonate (PC) and providing colorability. It is stronger and possesses higher heat resistance than acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS). PC -542 by Chi Lin Technology is used in 3C (computer, communication and consumer electronics) accessories and hand tool housings. Complies with UL flammability regulations.
