Viton™ F-605C by Chemours is fluoroelastomer terpolymer of hexafluoropropylene, vinylidene fluoride and tetrafluoroethylene plus cure chemicals. It exhibits heat resistance, improved processing, rheology & physical properties and increased mold flow. This grade offers improved mold release, excellent storage stability, improved extrusion performance, less mold fouling and excellent compression set resistance. Also, displays fluid and permeation resistance to automotive fuels. It is processed by compression and transfer molding. Viton™ F-605C is recommended for sealing applications such as fuel systems, O-rings, gaskets and diaphragms requiring excellent chemical resistance.
