CENTROTRON GF 40 PPS GF 40 by Centroplast Engineering Plastics is black-colored polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) polymer reinforced with 40% glass fibers. Exhibits good stiffness, higher strength of the binding material and an increased heat resistance stability at the same time. Provides high toughness, hardness, good dimensional stability and shows oxidation-, acid-, chemical- and hydrolysis resistance. Possesses a low coefficient of sliding friction, good temperature for usage in air, low water absorption, good heat distortion temperature, good bondability, weldability and machinability with increased bending strength to 14.00 MPa. CENTROTRON GF 40 PPS GF 40 is used in automotive applications such as bearings, sealing rings and aircraft construction.
