Celanex® 2401 MT® 70/2248 by Celanese is an unreinforced, high molecular weight, semi-crystalline polybutylene terephthalate (PBT). Exhibits ideal sliding & wear behavior, high dimensional stability, good chemical resistance to polar and non-polar solvents.
  • Offers gamma-resistance up to 50 kGy, medium flow, rigidity, high strength, flexibility, rapid crystallization, fast cycle time, excellent impact resistance, very low friction or noise, no environmental stress cracking, excellent colorability and good barrier properties.
  • Can be processed using injection molding.
  • Recommended for medical technology applications including drug delivery systems, sliding mechanisms, snap fittings, clips & clamps and functional parts with high dimensional precision and stability.
  • It has displayed excellent biocompatibility and contains no animal derived materials.
  • Celanex® 2401 MT® 70/2248 complies with the USP 23 Class VI Certification, ISO 10993 Biocompatibility, CFR 21 177.1660 of the FDA, RoHS, PFOA, PFOS, REACH and is listed in the Drug Master File 10047 (US) / 10033 (EU) & Device Master File 443 (US) / 1078 (EU).
