Ultramid® A3U40G5 is a PA66 grade reinforced with 25% glass fiber. Is a light colorable, halogen free flame retardant grade with outstanding mechanical and electrical properties. Possesses good elastic properties, high dimensional stability, high creep strength and excellent sliding friction properties. Provides good toughness at low temperatures, hardness, high rigidity, high mechanical strength, stiffness, thermal stability, very good impact strength and good processability. Exhibits outstanding resistance to chemicals, hot lubricants and hot water, fuels, hydraulic fluids & coolants, refrigerants, dyes, paints, cleaners, degreasing agents, aliphatic & aromatic hydrocarbons and many other solvents. Is resistant to corrosion, to aqueous solutions of salts & alkalis and to stress-crack formation compared to many amorphous plastics. Processed by injection molding. Complies with the glow wire requirements of IEC 60335.
