ecovio® F2223 by BASF is a biodegradable, weldable compound for compostable film partly based on renewable resources. It is a compound of aliphatic-aromatic copolyester ecoflex® F and polylactic acid (PLA). This grade contains slip agent. ecovio® F2223 possesses high melt strength, good thermostability up to 230°C and excellent processability. It shows high strength, stiffness and failure energy. This grade demonstrates wet strength. It is printable in 8 colors by flexo printing. This grade is designed for conversion to flexible films using a blown film process. It is used for packaging films, hygienic films and carrier bags.
