KELTAN® 5469

KELTAN® 5469 by ARLANXEO is a general-purpose, semi-crystalline ethylene propylene diene (EPDM) terpolymer with narrow molecular weight distribution. It can be cured with sulfur and accelerators. Possesses the ability to accept higher filler loadings than other elastomers. Shows fast and efficient mixing with additives. Exhibits low temperature flexibility, good electrical insulation properties, good vulcanizate physical properties such as stress-strain behavior and compression set. Provides very good resistance to heat, chemicals, oxidation, ozone and weather. Offers better aging resistance than natural rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) and butadiene rubber. Can be processed by extrusion and calendering. Possible applications of the KELTAN® 5469 could be automotive, plastics modification, technical rubber goods, building and electrical industry.
