Baypren® 216 M 38-48

Baypren® 216 M 38-48 by ARLANXEO is an odorless, water insoluble, xanthogen disulphide (XD) modified chloroprene rubber with medium crystallization rate. Exhibits low temperature flexibility and good electrical properties. Offers easy processing, very low gas permeability, good thermal conductivity and coefficient of thermal expansion. Provides lower elasticity, high filler loadings and better mechanical properties. Can be processed by extrusion and calendering. Baypren® 216 M 38-48 is suitable for buildings & construction, wire & cable applications such as cable sheathing and low voltage insulation. Possible applications could be hoses, molded parts, conveyor & transmission belts in automotive and general industry. Complies with REACH EU Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006.
