Pebax® Rnew® 80R53 SP 02 by Arkema is a heat- and UV resistant polyether block amide (PEBA) grade made of flexible polyether and rigid polyamide. Offers light stability, toughness & flexibility, flex fatigue resistance, cold temperature performance and impact resistance. Provides lightness, quick shape recovery and easy processing. It can be processed using injection molding and extrusion method. Its main application includes shoes specifically ski boots and athletic footwear components. Pebax® Rnew® 80R53 SP 02 contains 89% renewable carbon content. It has a shelf life of 2 years.
