Hydropol™ 30164P by Aquapak is a hot water soluble, non-toxic, recyclable and biodegradable polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH). It contains 0.3% anti-blocking additive. It is environmentally safe and shows high resistance to animal, mineral and vegetable oils, aliphatic & aromatic hydrocarbons, ethers, esters and ketones.
- It offers exceptional barrier properties against oxygen, carbon dioxide, nitrogen and natural resistance to ambient UV.
- It exhibits high strength, puncture- and electrostatic resistance.
- It is heat sealable, stable, storable and printable without pre-treatment, .
- It is suitable for processing by mono-blown film, co-extrusion, blown film, injection molding.
- Used in garment-, compost & soluble laundry bags, aprons/gloves, anti-static bags, multi-layer film structures and barrier films.
- Hydropol™ 30164P has a shelf life of one year.
- It has no ecotoxicological effect in marine environments according to ASTM D6691.
- All raw materials are listed as approved as direct food additives and food contact by EU and US regulatory listings.
