Accura® Bluestone™ Plastic by 3D Systems is a high rigidity, engineered nanocomposite 3D printing/ prototyping plastic resin. Is a SLA (Stereolithography) prototyping polymer and is designed for injection mold tooling. Exhibits exceptional stiffness, humidity resistance, excellent accuracy and non-settling formulation. Offers high temperature resistance up to 250 °C, making it suitable for tooling, resistance to deformation even under heavy loads, maintenance of properties over time, consistent mechanical properties, even on long builds and maximize reliability with no user R&D. EXACT™ can be used for tested build styles. Accura® Bluestone™ Plastic by 3D Systems is recommended for automotive wind-tunnel testing for the motor sports and aerospace industries, production of CMM/inspection assembly jigs & fixtures, lighting design and other applications where heat-generation from electrical components may be a factor. Suitable for covers and enclosures of electrical and mechanical components, water-handling products, such as pump & impeller design or other components, automotive “under-the-hood” applications, housings and enclosures. Can be applied for electronic applications, such as insulating components, connectors, adaptor fittings, bases, sockets and areas where ceramics might be used and soft tooling.
