ELVAX™ 760 Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Copolymer by Dow is an ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer grade with good mechanical performance. It offers impact and puncture resistance. It contains butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) antioxidant as a thermal stabilizer. It shows very good adhesion to PE.
- It is suitable for processing by injection molding, compounding, sheet & shape extrusion, structural foam molding, blow molding and wire coating.
- It can also be processed using conventional rubber processing techniques such as Banbury, two-roll milling and compression molding.
- It is recommended for wire & cables, adhesives, wax blends, sealants and industrial applications.

Exhibits high elasticity, good permeability, high density, low melting temperature, good processability, good mechanical properties and high tear resistance. Shows high polarity, good environmental stress-cracking resistance (ESCR), good gloss, low temperature toughness and low self-ignition temperature (SIT). It is insoluble in water & slightly soluble in hydrocarbon solvents. Can be processed using injection moulding and profile extrusion. Sipchem EVA 2018 is recommended for foams, shoe soles, films and compounds. Complies with CLP Regulation 1272/2008/EC, REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 and GHS.
