More options for demanding applications
Demand for advanced engineering plastics is growing across the region. More proven options within reach, backed by local technical support, can shape which materials stay on a formulator's shortlist for a demanding application. The expansion builds on the long-standing relationship between BASF and ALBIS. It extends the two companies' collaboration to another important market in Southeast Asia.
"Vietnam is a highly dynamic market with growing demand for advanced engineering plastics across a wide range of industries," says Julian Schmidt, managing director of ALBIS Vietnam. "By adding Ultramid®, Ultradur®, Ultraform® and Ultrason® to our local portfolio, we can offer customers more choice for demanding applications and support them with material selection, technical expertise and market knowledge close to their operations."
"We are pleased to expand our collaboration with ALBIS in Vietnam," says Erick Contreras, managing director of BASF Vietnam. "ALBIS combines strong distribution capabilities with a close understanding of customer requirements in the region. This makes the company a well-positioned partner to support the availability of our engineering plastics portfolio in this growing market."
