Camila M. Biato Stopa

Camila M. Biato Stopa is a project manager and innovation leader with over 12 years of international experience in the beauty, cosmetics, and biotechnology industries. She holds a master’s degree in Cosmetic and Drug Design from Université Lille 2 in France and a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Fluminense Federal University in Brazil. Fluent in Portuguese, English, French, and Spanish, she brings a strong multicultural and global perspective to innovation and product development. 

Camila has built her career in leading global organizations such as L’Oréal, Amyris, Cambrium, and Kosmoscience, working at the intersection of science, product strategy, and business innovation. She has extensive experience managing end-to-end product development processes, from early-stage concept ideation through to commercialization and market launch. 

Her expertise includes biotech-derived ingredient development, product innovation strategy, and cross-functional project leadership. She has successfully coordinated multidisciplinary teams across R&D, marketing, operations, and external partners, ensuring alignment on timelines, deliverables, and strategic goals. Camila is also experienced in defining product positioning, claims, pricing strategy, and go-to-market planning, as well as supporting the development of technical dossiers, presentations, and commercial assets. 

Throughout her career, she has led complex, high-impact projects in both global and emerging markets, contributing to multiple successful product launches and innovation programs. She is recognized for her ability to translate scientific insights into commercially relevant and consumer-focused solutions, bridging the gap between technical development and business needs.
