Biography

Benjamin Tawiah received his B.A. and Master of Engineering degrees from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana, and the Jiangnan University, China, respectively. Prior to earning his master’s degree, he obtained a postgraduate Diploma in Management Information Systems from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and worked with a number of Textile printing companies.

After several years of industrial experience, he studied for his Ph.D. in 2019 from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He then worked as a postdoctoral Fellow in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the City University of Hong Kong. He currently works at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology as a lecturer.

He has published extensively in highly reputable peer-review academic journals on a wide range of topics including inkjet inks formulation, pigment dispersion, transfer printing, flame retardant polymer composites, and second-generation batteries for energy storage in advanced grid systems.
