ZETESOL TP 300

Propylene Glycol (and) TIPA-Laureth Sulfate. ZETESOL TP 300 by Zschimmer Schwarz acts as a surfactant. It is a combination of tri-isopropanol ammonium fatty alcohol ether sulfate with 1,2-propylene glycol. It is used in high-concentrated to water-free bath preparations with a high content of oil. Its combination with polar vegetable oils such like castor oil results in clear products, independent of the mixing ratio. Less polar oils, e.g. olive or sunflower oil, as well as paraffin oil, require the addition of a co-emulsifier to get clear. Its aqueous dilution is cloudy rough-dispersed oil/water emulsion which has excellent foaming capacity in spite of the high oil contents. ZETESOL TP 300 is used to formulate oil foam baths and oil shower baths, hair care, baby care and cleansing.
