Laureth-2. OXETAL VD 20 by Zschimmer & Schwarz acts as a thickening agent. It is a fatty alcohol polyglycol ether with non-ioninc character. It is free from nitrogen and offers very good thickening properties in aqueous solutions of fatty alcohol ether sulfates. Its use in surfactant formulations effects lather stability and a fine-bubble, stable lather. OXETAL VD 20 is used in hair care, body care, shower oils, bath oils, hand and face wash products.
