PPG-20/20 Copolymer (and) PEG/PPG-20/20 Dimethicone. BELSIL® OW 1500 by Wacker is a copolymer of polydimethylsiloxane and organic glycol. In hair-fixative compositions, it acts as resin plasticizer. It can reduce brittleness and flaking of organic resins. Used in shampoos and shower gels, this silicone surfactant helps to stabilize the foam. It confers mild conditioning benefits on hair & skin and promotes formation of clear products. In creams and lotions, BELSIL® OW 1500 acts as coemulsifier providing oil-in-water emulsification benefits. It improves skin feel and product stability.
