Liponate® BDP

Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2. Liponate™ BDP by Vantage is an emollient. This paste-like ester offers smooth spreadability and touch. It is easy to use in formulations. It is developed as a substitute for lanolin. In lipsticks and color cosmetics, it adds a glossy finish and increases color payoff, leaving vivid color on the lips. It creates a strong stick structure while still providing a creamy application and feel. When added to color cosmetics formulations, it improves smoothness and glide. In skin care formulations, it provides a substantive film to protect and moisturize the skin. It adds structure and glide to hair styling products such as pomades and hair waxes. Liponate™ BDP is used in cosmetics.
