Hexadecane. CasEmol 16 by Thomas Swan is a biodegradable, lightweight and non-greasy paraffinic emollient and excellent carrier for sensitive actives. It is natural slip agent that improves application without heaviness or tack. It is an ultra-high purity linear alkane hydrocarbon. It enhances hydration, adds cushiony texture and better pigment dispersion.
  • It has longer skin residence time, more moisturizing than CasEmol 14 and improves active ingredient stability.
  • It is suitable for all skin types and ideal for daily moisturizers and facial care.
  • It is ideal for night cream, lip and hair oils and tints, non-SPF facial serums, skin-, haircare, and makeup products.
  • It adds natural shine and softness without contributing to heavy buildup.
  • It provides spreadability, soft-glide texture, smooth, soft finish and a luxurious feel without stickiness.
  • CasEmol 16 is listed with AICS, DSL/NDSL, IECSC, Indonesia, Isreal, EHSNR, INSQ, PICCS, TCSI, VNECI, TSCA and FDA and registered with EU REACH.
