Polyglyceryl-10 Stearate. SUNSOFT Q-18Y-C(MB) by Taiyo Kagaku is a powerful solubilizer, O/W emulsifier and non-ionic surfactant. It has very unique & exclusive structural properties mainly featured by low content of cyclic polyglycerols, enabling enhanced hydrophilicity. It is used for solubilization of lipophilic emollients (e.g. squalane) in water-based systems. It is also designed for making O/W emulsions in combination with lipophilic surfactants. It creates highly stable formulations and is less affected by temperature changes and presence of electrolyte or polyols.
- In skin care applications, it provides a well-balanced moisturizing effect without an unpleasant residual perception.
- SUNSOFT Q-18Y-C(MB) is suitable for pH range of 4-7.
