SymMollient® S

SymMollient® S by Symrise is an emollient. It is a saturated wax ester with silicone-like skin feel. It melts at skin temperature, creates a silky, non-oily skin feel. It leaves a dry, silicone-like touch on the skin. It increases skin hydration and decreases the TEWL. It reduces the whitening effect, e.g. in sun care formulations. It improves the skin feel of formulations with high pigment load. It prevents breakage in stick formulations. It reduces cracking and improves skin feel and lather. SymMollient® S is used in bar soaps.
