Caprylyl glycol. Hydrolite® CG by Symrise acts as a multifunctional moisturizer and product protection enhancer. It can also create a better sensorial experience of formulations, improve pigment dispersions, and add wetting properties. Hydrolite® CG is compatible with most anionic, non-ionic, and amphoteric cosmetic systems and most formulation types. It is stable at high/low pH and high temperature. It helps reduce or eliminate preservatives like parabens, formaldehyde donors or phenoxyethanol. It can be combined with low doses of preservatives like phenoxyethanol and acid-based preservatives like sorbate, benzoate and dehydroacetate for effective preservation of personal care formulations. It is recommended for hair and skin care applications. It is 100% biodegradable and GMO-free. This grade is Halal and Kosher certified.
