Hydrolite® 6

1,2-Hexanediol. Hydrolite® 6 by Symrise acts as a multifunctional moisturizer and product protection enhancer. It stabilizes the foam of surfactant solutions. It is compatible with most anionic-, non-ionic & amphoteric cosmetic systems and formulation types. It is stable at high, low pH and high temperature. It helps to reduce or eliminate preservatives like parabens, formaldehyde donors or phenoxyethanol. It can be combined with low doses of preservatives like phenoxyethanol & acid based preservatives such as sorbate, benzoate and dehydroacetate, for effective preservation of personal care formulations. Hydrolite® 6 is mild and perfectly suitable for sensitive skin applications.
