3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid. SpecWhite® VCE (Ethyl Ascorbic Acid) by Spec-Chem Industry acts as a whitening agent. It is an amphiphilic (hydrophilic and lipophilic) derivative of ascorbic acid. It inhibit the activity of tyrosinase, prevent the synthesis of melanin, accelerate the synthesis of collagen and improves the luster of skin.
