C10-16 Alkyl Glucoside (and) Decyl Glucoside. SpecSufc™ APG1214 by Spec-Chem Industry acts as a non-ionic surfactant with low surface tension. It has alkyl carbon chain length C12-C14. Offers good performance of enhancing viscosity and stabilizing foam to anion surfactants. Exhibits high detergency and is non-irritating to skin as well as enhance the mildness in the formulation of skin care products. It is combined with hydrolyzates of protein, it can substitute the PVP in all hair styling product such as hair gel and hair spray. It is easily soluble in water and is completely biodegradable. SpecSufc™ APG1214 is used in shampoo, bubble bath, cleaning lotion and skin care products.
