C14-22 Alkane. LILAC® by Sonneborn LLC is an emollient and moisturizing agent. It is a highly refined blend of alkanes. It is a low cost alternative to D5 silicones. It is non-comedogenic and chemically as well as biologically stable. It has good spreadability, short play time and a powdery, soft after-feel. It possesses both emolliency and silicone-like properties. LILAC® is used in antiperspirants and deodorants, body wash, hair conditioner, hair styling & finishing products. It is also used in hand cleaners, moisturizing lotions, permanent waves, scalp protector, skin creams & lotions and sun care products. It is available in US.
