Dimethicone (and) Dimethiconol. Siltech® 110 by Siltech is a very high viscosity silanol diluted in a low-viscosity dimethicone. It is hydrophobic, non-occlusive and highly lubricious when applied to hair and skin. It modifies the rheology and reduces tackiness. It also provides a dry feel during application. It is used in applications where a soft smooth feel is desired. Siltech® 110 is used in antiperspirant and hand lotions formulations. The shelf life of this ingredient is 36 months.
