Dimethicone (and) Dimethiconol. Siltech® 1050 by Siltech is a hydrophobic, high viscosity silanol diluted in low viscosity dimethylsiloxane. It is non-occlusive and highly lubricious when applied to hair and skin. It provides dry feeling during application. This ingredient reduces tackiness, provides soft smooth feel and modifies rheology. Siltech® 1050 is recommended for antiperspirant and hand lotions formulations. The shelf life of this ingredient is 36 months.
